Nachdem sich Wet Desert im Sommer 2007 endgültig aufgelöst hatten, schlummerte dieser Song leider erstmal auf meiner Festplatte und fristete sehr zu Unrecht ein Schattendasein, denn offen gesagt halte ich die Musik dieses Titels für die bis dato beste Kreation aus meiner Feder.
Nun gelangt er gleich doppelt an die Öffentlichkeit:
- Als gleichnamiger Song der Strandpoeten, mit stark veränderter Musik und Arrangement von Stefan Glass.
- Musikalisch unverändert, aber mit völlig neuem Text unter dem Titel “Once again“ als Opener auf dem neuen Winterland-Album.
